With a very high shine, but not a wet-look, Elizabeth Arden’s High Shine Lipgloss does exactly what it says on the tin!
Subtle colours, yet each one is different, this range of high shine lipglosses is right up there with the big players in the Chanel/MAC/YSL game.
These aren’t sticky in anyway, although yes, you do know you’re wearing them, but that can only be a good thing. how else do you know when to reapply!
They do profess to have moisturising properties, but I wasn’t aware of them, and didn’t notice a difference, but that’s not a problem, if you have dry lips you need to tackle the problem head on with balms and treatments, not with a lipgloss, but that shouldn’t detract from these, they really are a lovely gloss, and will be making their way into my pro kit

I don’t get the appeal of lots of different glosses. Aren’t they all just the same with different packaging and prices? shiny and coloured?

Nope! different smells, textures, appearance, subtlety of colour, or intensity of colour!
A die-hard lipgloss fan can tell the difference at 10 paces between a good gloss and a bad one!
HAve a play with some different ones next time you’re at your local beauty counters!
