From the Spring 2009 collection from Smashbox, the Muse Artist Eye Palette is standing its own, straight through Summer and probably well on it’s way into the Autumn Too.
With perfect pairings of light and dark versions of the same toned colours, purples, greens, blues, browns and muds, the colours are pure and true, not washed out upon application, what you see in the pan is what you see on your eyelid!
Probably ably helped by the lovely eyeshadow brush, stiffer than Smashbox’s usual brushes, it’s stiff enough to get a sharp crisp edge to your makeup, yet soft enough to blend where necessary.
At just under £33, it sounds expensive, but for 10 huge eyeshadows that really work well together, that’s only £3.30 per shadow – bargain, given that these are the same size as MAC shadows and are, in my opinion, better shadows, no crumbling and pure colour pay off!

Hi Sarah,
yes, I’ve had a sneak peek at some images. Can’t wait to get my hands on some to test out!
