Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss

clinique-superbalm-glossI tested this gloss in colour 10 – Grapefruit which is a lovely pink colour. This is priced at £12 for a 15ml tube which can be bought in Debenhams, Boots, House of Fraser or online. I found the texture quite thick when applied, but it is very easy to spread and evens out very quickly on the lips.

It wasn’t sticky which is great. There was no strong smell to this gloss and there was also minimal taste.

It was very easy to use and looks lovely applied on it’s own or over a lipstick colour. I loved the colour on its own – it really brings out your own natural lip colour. This was value for money and I would definitely buy this gloss again.

Highly recommended!

  1. I tried this balm in number 7, Lilac.

I don’t usually wear lip glosses, as I find them too sticky and my hair gets stuck to my lips.
I prefer to use a balm, but I was interested to see what this would be like as it also has the consistency of a balm, mixed with a gloss.
My initial reaction was that this was also too sticky for my taste, but having worn it for a little while, it soon settled down and gave my lips a lovely colour and glow, without feeling unpleasant at all.
After a few hours the colour was subtly noticeable and the lips still felt soft. There was no noticeable fragrance or flavour either.

All in all, I think this is a great product, and will be using it regularly from now on.
