I have used these lashes before when I lived in London and they were readily available from my local beauty wholesalers, but it was nice to be able to try them again.
You get two pairs of lashes in a pack for £2.99 which is excellent value. I wore these today with the glue that came with them. I’m not a fan of the white glue that comes with lashes as I tend to use Duo glue, but I put them on with the glue supplied and as expected, the glue was awful. It took a long time to dry and you could still see the places where the glue had dried.
For the lashes themselves, I was very impressed. Given their price, they are excellent value for money. They are quite firmly stuck to the box they come in so you have to lift them out carefully with tweezers in order not to ruin their shape. You can also trim them if you find they’re a little bit full on for you and they look quite natural when they’re on while still giving a full lash line.
I intended to wear these all day but after about five hours, I was begging to take them off. However I think that’s more down to me not liking strip lashes on myself for any length of time rather than the lashes themselves. They stayed firmly in place.
A big downside is not being able to find them in any stores near me and only very limited stockists online.

So I road tested Dimples Lashes in style 118 – black. These lashes are priced at £2.99 for a twin pack which also includes the adhesive. I was unable to find these lashes in a high street shop and could only find them in a couple of shops online which would mean having to pay out in postage and packaging costs.
The lashes were very flimsy and quite fiddly to hold. They were extremely hard to remove from the plastic packaging as they were glued to it. Care had to be taken when removing them from the packaging so as not to misshapen them which was very hard to do as they were tightly secured to the plastic. I found these lashes quite hard to apply (and I’ve applied many over the years). This was due to them being very lightweight and flimsy. I only wore these lashes for a couple of hours and by that time they were ready to come off! You definitely need to wear mascara over the top of this style of lash as well as they are so fine and light.
These lashes are very reasonably priced, but I also think that unfortunately that is reflected in the quality of the product. I would prefer to pay £2.99 for one set of lashes rather than a twin pack but know there were going to be of better quality.
The instructions on the back of the packet were confusing. There were two sets of instructions – one stating to wear the lashes with adhesive applied (numbered 1 to 2) and another set of instructions directly below had no mention of applying adhesive but to instead take from the box and apply directly to the lash line (numbered 1 to 4). Because the lashes were stuck solid to the plastic tray I am still unsure as to whether they are pre-glued lashes even though there is no mention anywhere on the packaging. I did however apply the lashes with the glue supplied, but unfortunately the glue (which was white) didn’t appear to dry very clear and the glue could be seen along the lash line. There was also no list of ingredients supplied with the glue so I would be weary of using this on someone who may have a latex allergy.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t buy these lashes again and also wouldn’t even recommend these as a cheap option for practising applying false lashes as unfortunately due to the quality of the lash, they were even harder to apply and more care needed to be taken when handling them due to them being so stretchy and thin.
Sorry Dimples lashes, but it’s a big thumbs down from me!

I never really wear false lashes except if I am on a night out (which is a rareity at the moment Rolling Eyes ) . I tend to use more of the individual lashes on brides and only occasionally strip lashes.
These cost £2.99 for a set of two which made me think they must be rubbish, but I was pleasently suprised. They are stuck down on the packaging but I didn’t have any trouble in getting them off. I usually use Duo glue but this time I thought I would use the glue that was supplied and again was suprised. I applied the glue to the lashes waited a few seconds (as I do with Duo) and applied to my upper lids.
The lashes do feel quite flimsy but I personally liked this, and I found them quite easy to apply as because of this they manouvered nicely into place. Mind you this could be because I am used to applying lashes and have a steady hand, if you tend to be heavy handed then you may find you damage them.
The glue dried fine and as the lashes were quite thin the line where they joined my natural lash line was barely visible.
I found them comfortable to wear, although they were a bit long in length for me personally (I was doing school runs/nursery trips all day!) and would better suit a special occasion/night out.
I applied mascara over to join my natural lashes to them and they looked great, my husband loved them!!
As Rochelle mentioned in her review though they are not widely available which is a down side to them but over all I would definatly get them for my kit and will be placing an order.

I use dimples all the time (on others) – there’s so many different styles you can always match up someone to one of them. I always cut them down. I usually give the glue to the bride or client incase they cry and the end starts coming away and I use duo so it’s interesting to hear the glue is good!
