I have an audition in a few weeks time for Disneyland Paris so, as it's an open audition and I've been to them for previous seasons, I decided this time to up my game and bought myself some hair extensions to help the Ariel look (Ideally I would love to be Tinkerbell but I don't have the pixie sharp features for her..)
I was worried they would be too bright or different from my current red, so after deliberating between three on ebay- one very very red, one quite dark, and one listed as copper, I went for the copper...
It's an almost perfect colour match! The picture is lots duller than it looks in real life
It's 22 inches, which comes to just below the edge of the photo. I love it! working tonight so I'm going to keep them in to get used to the feel of them; they're quite heavy and I think I want to buy some extra clips to sew in so there's less chance of them falling out while I'm dancing!
(oh and sorry for the smeary mirror...I didn't realise how bad it was! )

Good colour match. I would reccomend you wand curl your own hair and set the piece just under the crown with your own wand curled hair blending in..
Good lcuk with the audition

That's gorgeous! I think you'd make a great Ariel, but I do think you've got the perfect pixie features for Tinkerbell (who's my fave Disney girl!)
best of luck, and please keep us posted!

A quick update for you--
Unfortunately, I'm not jetting to Paris straight away...
this is what happened...
The audition itself was quite tough. The first part was pretty easy; "animation", just portraying different characters. The second round was a full on dance routine, getting harder each phrase. I don't pick up choreography very well, much less so under audition pressure and IN A ROOM OF 200 people! when I was finally called to perform it, I decided not to panic and just keep a big smile on my face if I mucked it up.
I did, and I can't remember if I managed to keep a smile on my face or if concentration won...
I ACTUALLY GOT THROUGH THE DISNEYLAND PARIS AUDITION!
They said I was good enough not just to be a character around the park but to work as a dancer on the parades too, even with my shocking dance audition!
They had a second day of auditions today before they go away and sort through what contracts they have and who fits them and it could be anyday now until another 6 months after which I have to audition again...
but for now I'm buzzing also 4 people told me I looked like Ariel; I wish i had time to take a photo, and people didn't realise they were extensions...GET IN!!
